This Refund Policy describes when and how customers can request a refund on opalLMS subscriptions or one-time purchases.
1. Free trial
Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You can cancel at any time during the trial from the admin dashboard and you will not be charged.
2. Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable after the trial. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access until the end of the paid period. No pro-rated refund is issued.
3. Annual subscriptions
Annual subscriptions may be cancelled within 30 days of the initial annual payment for a full refund. After 30 days, the remainder of the annual term is non-refundable; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
4. One-time purchases
One-time course purchases, seat-pack purchases, and similar items are non-refundable once delivered, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law.
5. Enterprise (Plus)
Plus contracts are governed by the refund terms in your order form or master services agreement. The self-serve policy above does not apply.
6. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your card issuer rather than contacting us first, your account may be suspended pending resolution. We will always work with you to resolve billing issues directly — please email billing@opallms.com.
7. How to request a refund
Email billing@opallms.com with your workspace slug and the charge you want refunded. We acknowledge within 1 business day and, if approved, process the refund to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
